When can you re-sign for a club, is it after your last game or is it at the end of the season?

I meant after signing a form, technically you cant play for another Alliance League club unless you

a) transfer

or

b) wait until a cetain date, which I thought was May 31st, which then you can play/train/talk to another club?

May be different in this league.
