Div 2

So after looking at the new div 2 I was quite intrigued, not knowing much about most of the sides I just wondered what peoples thoughts were

Take FC Pochin out of any accumulators.

We've lost our best 3 players, all whom formed part of the defence which only conceded 20 goals in 22 league games last season.

Danny the keeper wants to play more local and I believe will be signing for Huncote Sunday, Kyle (rb) is out injured for the season and Macky (cb) has decided to play in division 7.

Oh and I nearly forgot, we still haven't got a manager yet!!

My favourites for division 2 will be Huncote purely on the basis they will have the best goalkeeper in the Alliance

Agree blackie if that's true about Danny playing at Huncote and Wes Johnson/Ryan Smith both hit the 30 plus goals they are capable of they will take some beating

Nice to see a reunion of the teams that formed division 5 a few years ago - CPR, Carnabys, Pochin, LDA, Talbot.

Fairfield and Leicester Foxes will be the complete unkowns as they are both new sides.

We have been lucky in recent seasons to be involved in competitive divisions (despite Monsell winning both times) so hopefully it will continue.

We lost 3 regular players over the course of 2014. 2 of them centre backs, plus Brad Downing whos has been our top goalscorer for two seasons. Not concerned though as i think it looks a good division.

Npe very nearly folded but have decided to keep going with a similar team to last year. Hoping to get a few new additions but delighted to have a keeper this year and he will be deffo competion for best in the league...

Take out Talbot and Huncote, then add Club, Enness and Thurmo Reserves, gives you this:

Should be a good division, looking forward to some tight games against our old adversaries LDA and CPR.

Also it'll be nice to have a guaranteed (fingers crossed) 24 games. Last season was more-a-less finished by February for us.

Being the "top" division in the Foster should be nice too (taking nothing for granted).

Oh yes that's a bit strange but it should be a competitive league. Can't be any worse for us than last season lol.

Yes we were very close but the core lads wanted to carry on so we talked everyone into it and have signed are old keeper back who is different class so that will make a big difference. Your all welcome to join us for a beer down merry monarch after our home games, they put a bit of food on for us.

We got destroyed by leicester foxes on Sunday and it was there first game of pre season lol.

Had a good side, they said there all playing Saturdays so not had to do much pre season.
