The start of British Summer Time - clocks have gone forward one hour. Did we all kick off on time?

Sums up this forum now mate, don't think anybody is interested.

I've done a report every week (win or lose) so may as well carry on now to the end of the season...

Leicester Forest Foxes 0 v 6 FC Pochin

Jordan Cunningham 2
Shane Jackson
Jamie Smith
Kyle Winston
Ricardo Gonzalez-Gomez

The Foxes played the 1st 10 minutes with 9 men and we took our opportunity to be 3-0 up before it was 11 a-side.

A lot more even after that but in truth we should still have had double figures.

As last week when we played them, Foxes attack in numbers and despite the scoreline played some really good football - they could be a side to watch out for next season.

7 games to go for us - our desire to stop the opposition scoring whatever the scoreline should put us in good stead for the remainder of the season

Nice work Blackie. Deserve to win that division too. The jump up to Three would be no problem for Pochin IMO

Cheers mate.

We'll be expecting a jump into div 3 if we win the division but to fair I've been saying for a long time that there's not much difference between divisions 2 to 6 anyway imo.

Frolesworth apart as I think they are on a different level

Inter Mivan 4-3 WPR

Great game of football !!

We started the game well, bossing the game, creating good oppotuniies to score but none of our players wanted to shoot for some strange reason. Midway through the half we went 1-0 up through Jack (quality first time finish with keeper coming out as through ball put jack one on one with keeper).
Half time 1-0 up and had many chances to increase leauge, WPR looked dangerous couple of times. but only when the no.10 got involved.
Second half (and what a second half), within 2min from ko, WPR scored (nicley taken goal) and within 2 mins of that, they counter attacked and scored another (very good finish-near post smashed into roof of net - 2 goals within 2 min of restart). Massive lift for WPR and all of a sudden were chasing the game.
We created oppotunity after oppotunity to equalise but WPR keeper pulled of some great saves, middway through half we get the equalliser(2-2).
Only to concede 5 mins later to wonderful strike, outside box curled into far top corner, unstoppable (2-3).
It seemed like it was going to be one of those days, lots of chances but no points. We kept pushing forward committing extra players forward and with 2 mins left grabbed an equaliser. Spurred on with the goal the lads wanted the winner. But with only a minute or two left seemed unlikely. But with virtually the last kick of the game, a deflected shot fell to vinay (six yards out) who guided it in to the top corner, to give us a 4-3 win.

Huge credit to WPR, played with great heart and resiliance. Great lads and good banter. A special mention to their support (loved the fog horn, rattle and cheering) keep it up. Best of luck for remainder of season to them !!

We're starting to creep up the table, am hoping for a top 5 finish and considering we were in the bottom 2 at start of March that would be a good acheivement for us.

What a weekend in div 6, some surprising results. Birtstall Rangers beating Dukla and the biggest shock Desford beating LKS, a great result for Desford (well done lads) and a wonderful way to finish their season off.

SUAREZ IS KING !! DARE TO DREAM !! YNWA !!

Polska 2 Willowbrook 1

Delighted to end the season with a hard fought win, and becoming the first team to beat Willowbrook in the league since September. We started quite brightly, but Willowbrook caught us napping with a very quickly taken free kick that caught us out as they asked the ref if they could take a quick one before the whistle. We then equalised just before half time after Marcin had literally sneaked in between the two centre halves who only spotted him when it was too late. Second half, Walshy got himself sent off with a second yellow. To be fair, the actual second yellow itself was quite soft in my opinion but he had been warned by the ref and had committed 5 or 6 offences so overall it was the correct decision. From the resulting free kick, a Willowbrook player in the wall literally tipped the ball over his head with his arms aloft but Brian Morrell didn't see it. In fairness to him, he apologised at the end saying his angle from the free kick made it very difficult to see, although I jokingly suggested you could have seen it from Planet Mars. We then sneaked the winner from Savo 9 minutes from the end. Willowbrook got clean through with virtually the last kick of the game, but their lad hit the bar when it was easier to score. Good, entertaining game, and we deserved a bit of luck after the penalty incident. Willowbrook will still win the title, we've just kept them hanging on for a bit longer. Well reffed by Brian, and have enjoyed the 2 games with Willowbrook this season. Very, very pleased that win has taken us up to 5th and out the bottom two, because although we have struggled for goals this season, our defensive record (one game apart) has been excellent. That's it now for the summer and who knows where we will be next season?
