| Just seen the first draft of the new divisions, I have to say I doubt it will stay that way....i mean pukka pies and glenfield in 4 really? Far too good, monsell res in 7,give these teams a challenge at least, how us thurmaston res stay in 4 is beyond me we struggled big time, why cant the league see that | |

| I have just been told that we (a team that only beat two teams last year in division 1) are in the same division as prem sports who won the billy walton. Will wait until i see the constitution, but the info i am getting is that we have another to ballache of a season to get thru? Time to get that golf handicap down i reckon! | |

| What the fk?
We have lost coley, Leon Coleman, staffy, Ty, Eamesy to name a very few. Explained this to the league, we struggled last year and now have prem teams and others in there. We are trying to rebuild with solid reliable players, not being helped. I know all i do these days on here is moan, but its with good reason!
Will speak to the lads and see what they say...

Although, for those games we did have Coley, Ty, Leon Coleman, Chris Eames and Staffy... At least we know what we have to do now, recruit 5 new players at division 1 standard or above...anyone...??? Love to know how Prem Sports (Prem winners 2011/12, Billy Walton winners 2012/13 for the record) have been relegated...that is an immense piece of spin by any standard...imagine if they had won the Arthur Moore this season just gone, they would have probably gone straight to division 3!!!

| I agree with Widds on one of his two points. I think the vaccuum at the top (Prem & Div 1) means that there has been an inevitable reshuffle. In theory, I think the Premier division is more of a level playing field than in recent years (especially if Advance disappear) but there is a big gap lower down. Basically, Div 1 next season won't be that much different to Div 2 last year, and for that reason I don't necessarily think that NRI have been as harshly treated as they might think.
My own view on the Prem Sports issue is that a team that wins the Billy Walton - whether it is Prem Sports or anyone else for that matter - should be in the Premier division unless they have finished in the bottom two. For Prem personally, we don't know who they will have playing for them next season (at least I don't) so we should be careful to judge before a ball has been kicked - but in my humble opinion both Prem and Willowbrook will finish in the top 2 next season and could well be Prem division standard.

| Promotions and Relegations have got to be based on league form surely? Wouldn't expect Wigan to stay in the premier league because they won the FA Cup? Prem only won 4 games from 14, this is relegation form? I think the new teams will be the interesting 1's. | |

Obvious ones do stick out that have already been mentioned. Premier I am baffled at mostly to be honest, dukla bragging on there all star line up is another. And we only just beat webbys 1-0 in the cup when we had full team out, we now have 4 out of our 6 best players retiring or left us. So we are much weaker than last season. A lot of our lads are asking about joining the lsl now! Anyway, i have explained in an email to the committee that we have lost players, But seems to fall on deaf ears, I did this a while ago and again today, and put it on here, if we do carry on and have the struggle of last season then i Will walk, and i would imagine we would fold. Sorry again for being a miserable bar steward! But Sunday football is for enjoying, not for having a permanent Wigan style battle! And i repeat - prem sports in Div 1, top work that secretary!

Understand your struggles with players, and to an extent getting beaten every week, but there has to be someone at the bottom of every table. We have had great seasons where we won leagues and cups and we are currently fighting to keep goin . We all love it when we win, the real character of the lads comes out when it's roll your sleeves up time. How we finished last season was a miracle, honest lads and some laughs is the best way to describe it.

| Mr Brett sir i am sure you will be fine in Div 2 about time that you went down to give you a chance to rebuild, we are fairly happy to be in div 4 may we actually give someone a game(rather than knowing the result before we turn up), although as Mr Pollington will vouch for we were extremely lucky to beat Thurmo res in a cup game last year who were a div 4 side so could well be a struggle again. fingers crossed that i am not looking forward to the end of the season come the second week in September.
(p.s Bretty i have a definite pass out for sunday so see you at the club)
