| Ok, so John Terry has been stripped of the England captaincy, that arguement has been done to death.....but should he now be kicked out of the team? | |

| As Churchill says.........oh yes......hes gone too far, if we happen to win the next tournament, i wouldn't want him holding the cup aloft, he doesn't deserve it. | |

| What happens if he's been found not guilty? Then he would've been stripped of the opportunity to lead his country out at his last major tournament. | |

| Not based on the Racism charge, innocent until proven guilty.
Whether he should be first choice in the team/squad for footballing reasons is another matter, his form has been average at best and there are other options for England.

| Both valid points...the abiding memory of the 66' world cup is Bobby Moore sat on team mates shoulders holding the trophy aloft, imagine if Terry was sat on Rio Ferdinands shoulder, 8 days before being found guilty....but...in the UK you are innocent until proven guilty, so if Terry can deal with it, then he should be allowed to carry on...tough one! | |

| If he's found not guilty the whole country will end up in riots, if he is found not guilty i wonder what words came out of his mouth then, ( it must have been cockney rhyming slang) anyway, i for one dont want him leading my country into Poland, (some other blokes name springs to mind) its a joke that they can even think about delaying his trial till after the Euro..2112( Suarezs' name springs to mind)....one for the committee to think about... | |

| If any employee is charged with a work related offence, then it is normal practice for him/her to be suspended on full pay.
Is this fair?
Why should footballers be different?

| as he is innocent until proven guilty, then he should be considered for the England squad. But he should only be in the squad if his ability is better than those players also available and capable of playing in his position | |

| If a supporter is found to be saying racist chants then he is banned for life...why should John Terry be any different?
Comes from a scum family, acts like an absolute d**k, and the court case would have never gone to trial if there wasn't substantial evidence to prove he said what he said.
On top of all this he is s**t, far better options available!!
Rant over | |

| Agree, this guy needs slapping down to size, he's abused his position, he thinks he can't be touched cuz hes wearing the captains armband, he looks and behaves like a thug, sleeps around, and is a general arze, doesnt deserve the position, the pay, or the glory that comes with that job, perhaps he should go in to politics, he'd be alright hiding under Camerons wing, like all the other rich dirty scheming rats..... | |

| Charges aside, hes not warranted his place in the England team for a while now, ( not played well for Chelsea - but then again he is next to Luiz)
no player will be able to 'captain' the team properly with Terry in the squad
