With the temperature still at -2 (in Thurmaston) there is no chance of ground softening, can't comment on other areas of Leicester but think it's a safe bet that most (probably all) fixtures will be off.

Wheel lads turned up told at half 9 game was off no sign off carnabys or ref so we walked over to the pitch to have a look and in all fairness game could have been played if kick off was delayed till 11 as the sun was beaming down on it. We got to there at half 9 like I said and all the pitches were white by the time we left at 10:20 they were green as they were starting to defrost!!!!

The game should only be called off by the appointed ref or an agreed Alliance ref/officer following a pitch inspection. In the case of frost or fog, the kick off should be delayed until 11 am unless, in the ref's opinion, there is absolutely no chance of the pitch becoming fit. This might be the case if the pitch is severely rutted.

Referee advises that Superfly were not prepared to travel to Phoenix after the ref had declared the Superfly pitch unfit at 10.50 am on the grounds of it being too late.

End of the day it had got to 11.00 and the ref said was unplayable phoenix said try there ground but was a gamble,and having spoken to the lads i was going to take 15-20mins to get to there ground then IF it was playable nets have got to go up then get kitted up so we were talking 12 kik off so was way to late alot of us have kids n family we want to spend time with and only really get chance at weekend so we decided to not play

Just to clarify I was still with the ref at 11.15 at western park.
Game wouldn't have kick off until 12 earliest which the ref didn't even want to do.
Hence the reason us rejecting two 30min halfs
