Cracking game. I'll be there.

Huncote will need to be on top form for this. I imagine Saffron will benefit more from this as they'll be able to use such players as Tommy Hill and Lee Barrett who would not normally play every Sunday.

Yeah I agree with that, We were caught out against the Bullies like that.

Looking forward to it but yes their big guns that won't normally play Sunday's will be present I'm sure!!

James must have in for us

Missing two players from our normal squad including our top scorer so going to be tough but we will give it all and hope to put an entertaining show on for you all

Your've got other proven goal scorers so i imagine it wont be to much of a miss?

its a shame we couldnt get that side out week in week out tbh kev. what killed us was losing our entire midfield adam charlton out for good, lois quinn chipped a bone in his foot, nathan kewmoss out and pearson now contracted. that was some midfield to be fair. then when mobbsy went prem and ebony went advance we knew it would be a struggle. i suppose the only consolation is all the rest of the teams shall be losing 3points so will make it interesting at the foot of the table.

Thats a great post, I agree with everything you say regarding the standard and the drink. 2 of our players didn't even show for our game against GT on Sunday and are constantly hungover. Winds me up more than I can show and I know that a couple of our lads are ready to jump ship because of it.

I thought Levi was now at Hinckley?

yes he is and it seems to be helping him with his sharpness from what i was told after the car breakers game, they were 1 down at ht before winning 4-1

well said and agree with you. but i think overall football has suffered because society has changed a lot even in the last 10 years. spoilt kids now wanting something for nothing, the reliable ones getting rarer and rarer. yes we all liked a beer back in the day but we were still there on a Sunday week in week out

Trouble is, if you've been work all week, you really are looking forward to your Saturday nights out, after all that is your relaxation time after work, however, if you dont work, and you've got the opportunity to drink most nights, then if you want to play football on Sunday morning, you shouldn't have any excuse to be hung over, but somebody working that perhaps hasn't had a drop all week, then thats a tough call, and at the age of 20 life is all about drinking and gals and socialising, etc..etc.

true, but I don't believe a 20 year old doesn't touch a drop all week until Saturday night!

Think i have only ever missed one game through drink and that was more to do with the drive to the game the next day...although i do remember once getting clattered when i was hungover and lying on the floor, feigning injury so i could come off, my manager was having none of it, laughed and told me to get up.....sod!
