New teams for 20010-2011

We are pleased to announce that the following teams will be recommended to the A G M for acceptance for next season.

Azul Zorros FC
FC Hoskins
Oadby Owls FC (temporary name)
Sporting Swapo FC

Any information to pass on about who they are, where they are from or what standard they are looking to play at?

Azul Zorros FC- Terrible name, fold by Christmas
FC Hoskins- Ditto
Oadby Owls FC (temporary name)- Ditto, and taking two of my players
Sporting Swapo FC- Fold by Christmas

Thinking that myself Clive although I think it would have been on here by now if it is them.

Sporting SWAPO may be a reincarnation of the old Crown Services team. The secretary works for SWAPO.

For no sinister reason. I suspect they want a slightly different name from their your set up. They only need to firm up their name when they affiliate with County.

swifts cant be revived ...they are now all hooked up with other clubs and i have it on good authority their manager was left totally disillusioned by their demise.

100% it's crown services played them as swapo a few year back, plus they have folded from divison 1 this year lsl

We are pleased to announce that AFC Royal Oak and Sporting Highcross have now been interviewed and will be recommended to the A G M for acceptance.

Both clubs currently play in the Premier Division of the Leicester Sunday League.

Interesting. A few Royal Oak lads have for most of this season been asking me what the Alliance League is like

About five are joining Oadby Owls.

Dee I know Wigston Rangers are a bunch of young lads that are making the step up from under 18's into the "adult" league. Think they finished second in their league. Will be looking to start in the bottom team i imagine

Wigston Rangers are Wigston Youth U18 side. They narrowly missed out on the title, they were 2 points ahead on the last day and played against the then 2nd place who beat them 2-1. Cracking match to watch.

Division 4 or 5 but will improve with age

One or both will be changing their name.

Pitches and Divisions are a long way from being decided.
