Friendlies this week (1st - 7th Aug)

WRFC - NRI at Aylestone Park. 1pm kick off. Got 3 huge players missing but we should still try and make it competitive.

Well thats encouraging! Not quite the same opposition though this time, only 8 divisions between us and the bullies.

To be fair dan is a good striker, he is fast as feck, not many keep pace with our ginge! And well impressed with his composure to take the goal, will bag a lot again

Cheers Widds, I usually get more chances when Tom Chown plays up front with me, hes a cracking target man and had nearly 40 assists last season. We will see what happens. I actually thought your other centre half was quicker than ginge, he didnt seem that quick.

Yeah Ginge is quick as....kept up with you before you dived for your penno ;-)

The other centre half, cant say his name as we are in early talks, but that was his first game for us, looked quite useful to be fair.

i was mixing him up with a Mitchell Warner, he's a good player too....so there is only one Dan Mitchell.

Kept up with! haha he was left biting at my ankles, literally. Would have been a red card had it not been a friendly. Got lovely cuts on my knees He was a sound lad though, same as most of the rest of your squad. Your number 7's header was brilliant, he looks like your strongest striker, the others were all too greedy.

Yeah he is the same age as me, played against him a few times at Under 18's put 8 past his side in 2 games.

Yeah thats Jay, very good striker...get him anywhere in the 18 yard box and he is clinical. We were missing Dave Ilnicki as well up front, he is quality too....good options though....get everyone fit and down and i think we could do ok this season

Came to watch the game against Dans side on Sunday, got there for 10-30 not knowing it was a later KO...a bit peeved about that one.

Mind you it was more to see mrs Heggs than you lot.
