At the recent Alliance Meeting it was stated that all match balls should have either the 'Fifa Approved' or 'Fifa Inspected' Logo on them, what about the 'International Matchball Standard - IMS' logo, internet searches show this ball to 'meet FIFAs high demands and classified 'IMS' qualifying for all Confederation and Federation matches.

Out of curiosity, what happens if the home team do not have such a ball available?

On a different note, went in sportsdirect and the £6 ball cage had 2x Mitre Max in, guess what, they never had £6 stickers on and was told £26 each, lol.

I think there may already be a set fine of £5 if the home team cannot provide a suitable match ball. this wa sbefore these new standards came in.

The rule change which was explained and passed at the A G M reads:

"(9) The home team must provide at least two footballs fit for play (FIFA Approved or Inspected) and the referee shall make a report to the Competition if the footballs are unsuitable."

Each team will receive a free match ball to the higher 'Approved' standard at the General (Handbook) Meeting on 16th August.

Balls of that standard are available to Alliance teams only from MDH at a special price of £19.99 - contact MDH on 07872647998.

The IMS standard ball is equivalent to the lower FIFA Inspected standard and so is acceptable.
