Just been down to West Ends pitch at Rounghill Community collegde Thurmaston and theres a little bit of snow on the pitch, so if the thaw carries on and we dont get a big freeze tonight things are looking good for tomorrow.

Our game vs niffy is off our pitch is just unplayable according to the groundsman down there.

our gaffa took his mrs with a broom over to coalville (away at Cropston rangers in CC) to sweep the snow off the pitch today, early reports are she did a poor job and without rain it's not looking good

So which games look like going ahead? With our game off need to go and watch something!

We inspected last night at 6pm and Ref was happy, meeting him there at 9am for another inspection so fingers crossed.

Advised that desford v magna was called off last night. The harrow game looked set to go ahead so I guess I'll head that way

Harrow v The Plough Inn Bruntingthorpe - Postponed

This one is different - the pitch has been declared playable, but The Plough Inn Bruntingthorpe have insufficient players to fulfil the fixture. I am sure that will be dealt with by County FA.

Hood Park Rangers v North Kilworth Sunday - Postponed

Think all there players expected it wld b off, so made other plans, but after looking at are pitch this morning dnt think there wld of been many games called off this morning if the council didn't call them off b4 giving them chance

have to agree. think the council were way too hasty - especially as a thaw was forecast openly throughout the media as early as Thursday

I agree but the positive is that many pitches would have been ruined and put out of action for weeks to come.

At least there are few Saturday games on Council pitches and so there is less chance of a game on that day causing a Sunday postponement.

They're all sitting on computers all day long, so i'll have to disagree with you on this one.
